We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and roofing to showcase their craftsmanship and contribute to high-quality projects.

What you'll do

Duties

  • Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.

  • Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, tiles, and other materials following blueprints and schematics.

  • Inspect existing roofs for damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or replacements to extend roof lifespan.

  • Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects precisely.

  • Utilize heavy lifting techniques and equipment safely to handle materials such as shingles, metal sheets, or concrete forms.

  • Apply caulking, sealants, and other weatherproofing materials to ensure roofs are watertight.

  • Perform framing, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, or welding as needed for specialized roofing projects or restoration work.

  • Collaborate with team members on construction estimating, project planning, and site safety protocols.

  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to all safety standards on construction sites.

What you need

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or restoration with a strong understanding of construction principles.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

  • Knowledge of various roofing materials including shingles, metal roofing, tiles, stucco, and membrane systems.

  • Experience with construction estimating processes is a plus.

  • Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures on construction sites.

  • Skills in carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), masonry (masonry work), plumbing (for roof drainage systems), welding (metal roofing), and tile laying are advantageous.

  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in diverse weather conditions.
